Dining at Chez Panisse

Caitlin Compo was one of 3 lucky Grand Prize winners of Google Hotpot’s San Francisco contest! Each person won a fine dining experience with 10 of their friends. There were many delicious courses to eat and many splendid wines to drink at Chez Panisse! Caitlin was so kind. She shared with me her tasty dining experience.

Caitlin and her 10 friends sat upstairs near the waiting area. They caught the attention of the other patrons. Curious on-lookers wondered about the young, well-dressed diners. Or maybe they were curious because I was capturing their dining experience. Every now and then, someone would ask me what the occasion was.

Recently, Google announced that they are moving Google Hotpot into Google Places. Read more about the change here and here. Foodies will find this feature useful. Rate the restaurants you have dined at and share recommendations with your family and friends!

Diana’s Wedding Dress Fitting

It was a rainy day on a Tuesday. Diana and her mom were ready to go wedding dress shopping at two bridal stores in Milpitas, California. Lucky for them, shopping on a weekday meant no lines and crowds, ample parking and plenty of mirrors! The stores were practically empty, making the shopping experience very relaxed and enjoyable.

Diana and her mom finished shopping at David’s Bridal. Next stop, Group USA at the Great Mall in Milpitas!

Group USA is an affordable bridal and formal attire boutique. They provide a catalog of the wedding dresses available this season. Diana and her mom pick out their favorites for Diana to try on.

Mary Grace - These are great photographs, Angie! I appreciated the photojournalistic approach and the ways you captured those special moments. I especially loved the photo of Diana looking at her reflection in the mirror.

Ken - Nice work Angie! I LOVE the last shot and the shots of the bride and her mother looking through the catalog. You documented this potentially "boring" event (says a man. haha) and made it look professional and classy. Good work!!

Barry Phipps - Wow. I love the patterns and symmetry in these photos. Great job, Angie!

wendy - what fun!!! Love these and all the mirrors... nice shoot.
